Ahh, I knew that Sam was going to have to invade Dean's dreams eventually--remove that last refuge from the pain and despair. But I didn't picture it going down this way, with dream!Sam being some actual, earlier incarnation of himself, implanted in Dean's brain. And one who would give Dean hope that he, Dean, could actually affect some change that would get his Sam back.

Interesting...

Yeah, I didn't see any speculation in this particular direction around, but my mind is a very twisted place. So much of this 'verse is about Dean losing and finding hope all at the same time. Glad you found the story interesting. And thanks for the feedback.

I am soooooo happy that you updated. I am always checking to see if you have. I absolutely love this verse. And you fooled me becasue when I started reading this chapter, I thought Dean wouldn't be strong enough to refuse and him and "his Sam" were gonna end up having sex then "not his Sam" was gonna find out. Anyways, this verse is soooo good, my absolute favorite. Please update soon, I can't wait!!!!!!
p.s. you have an awesome imaginaiton! You've definetly have a true talent with writing!

Aww, thank you! I'm always glad to see the regulars come rolling around here! And yeah, about dream!Sam/Dean, they totally want to be intimate together, in a way, but, at the same time, even beyond what evil!Sam would do to them over it, Dean's kind of oversexed as it is, ya know? Poor guy's giving it up 24/7. But, dude, thank you so much for the writing compliment! I'll certainly update again as soon as I can. :D

I adore this 'verse. I have a visceral reaction to these stories. They're sad, beautiful, haunting, and memorable. Poor broken Dean. You are awesome!
