Writing Game, Week 14

This week's board is made by somigliana, the prompts are from benebu, and the dice is made by rea_saint. Thank you all!

lilian_cho, I hope you don't mind that I made a few edits (this is gelsey). Using the dice for all the board is much too confusing. Let me know.

Hi. :) I said I would try to play eventually, and it seems like I'm going to have a bit of spare time over the next few days, so I figured that I would give this a go. Yes, so, just to make sure I don't bollox anything up, I figured that I'd better ask a few questions first

I can try to help out with some of the answers, although there are some questions I have for the mods too :)

You start on home, roll the dice. Say you get 2 -> you move to B. Then write a drabble with the Action: Brainstorm.

Mods - do we roll the dice again to get our points for that prompt?

On each Player's choice - you have two options. Either ignore the ladder, or go up/down the ladder. If you want to go on the ladder, choose prompts from box A. You are allowed to choose three prompts in the same row if you want. So you can write a drabble with: Prompt = fault, Character = Tall, Action = Learn. If you want to ignore the ladder, use box B.

MODS: What are the points for the player's choice tables?

Um, no rolling the dice again (gets much to confusing!) though don't worry about your drabble, I've labelled C as +2.

I have all the points written out but LJ is being a huge brat and not letting me edit and repost the entry. So if someone could help me by doing it for me ... just IM me or email me. I'm sending it to you, somigliana, right now in case you get on before I get back from work.

Such a sweet depiction of a pleasant moment. I think in wizarding fanfic we tend to get so heavily into angst/romance/what have you that we sometimes forget that these kind of scenes are nice, too.

And thanks for explaining Players' Choice. I'd always been able to figure the rest of it out but was too embarrassed to show my ignorance to ask about that part. *blush*

Thank you so much - I love the simple moments with my characters, too. They're good for flexing the writing brain and getting back into a character, I guess, from my perspective :)

Nah - I had a real brain-stopping moment last night trying to figure out what was for what.
