[team three] Compromise
From my Strawberry Parfait verse that I wrote for je_hols a few years ago. Based on the anime Sekaiichi. Basically, Nikaido is the editor of BL manga, Miyata's his boss, and the Snowmen are the authors.
"Hurt them? Of course I'm going to hurt them. I can assure you that they will feel pain for a long, extended period of time. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get on that." Nikaido shoves his chair back and is shoving his jacket on when Miyata grabs his arm. "Get off me."
Miyata laughs a bit nervously, never one for confrontation, but his grip holds. "Let's just think this over calmly."
Nikaido stares at him. "Fukasawa-sensei, the very same author who has not once made one of his deadlines, just up and left his studio, without any warning, to go on vacation with one of your authors and you want to think this over calmly?!"
"Abe-sensei's very responsible and is never late with his work," Miyata tries, but is only rewarded with an angry snarl.
"Great. Dandy. Let's compromise. I'll let your mangaka live. Fukasawa-sensei on the other hand is going to have his ass kicked and then I'm going to handcuff him to his desk until he finishes his next two chapters!"
