Today’s the first time where I can chill in the morning since my boss (and other colleagues) are not around, but I got sidetracked at work again since I’ve been moving stuff around my area of assignment. I’m so sorry for being late. And more apologies for writing something so stupidly short.
So here’s a MDZS x Koi Tsuzu AU nobody asked for. Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian as Dr. Tendo and Nurse Sakura. :’D

The thought plays in Lan Wangji’s mind, remembering Jiang Yanli’s stories about Wei Wuxian. The fight to keep calm doesn’t show in his face, nor in attending to the people and assessing them, not after Wei Wuxian himself made it clear that there are more of those people who needed their help. That bright smile like sunshine appeared on Wei Wuxian’s lips, an assurance that everything will be fine Lan Zhan, so let’s do our best to save all these patients first, before going right back to work.
The words in his mind does not prepare him for the fear of seeing these thoughts become reality. But that fear makes Lan Wangji move faster to catch Wei Wuxian before the man hits the ground, to call for another ambulance when the last one just drove away with the least injured patient from the accident. He puts his phone on loud speaker so he can free his hands, pressing on the wound in Wei Wuxian’s head, bleeding so much more profusely now than just a few minutes ago.
Lan Wangji takes a shuddering breath when the call is done and the line goes dead, holding it in for a second before releasing it slowly. “Wei Ying. Stay with me.” If there is a tremor in his voice, Wei Wuxian wouldn’t be able to tease him about it. And so he waits for help to come.
