This is a fun fic. I wish that I'd seen Lipstick Jungle, but I have the book to read as well...so anyway this is a cool idea. I like Andy in control. And I wonder what will happen when she and Miranda run into one another. It is rather obvious that Miranda cares...though it pains her to admit it. So cute!

Andrea was just another in a long line of disappointing assistants, and she honestly could not care less if her plane had crashed on the way back from Paris. (It had not. She had checked every flight that had left Paris in the week surrounding Andrea’s departure. They had all arrived safely.)

Andy is so awesome in this fic, I love how she is helping Victory to get into Runway.

Miranda's appearance was great too and I can't wait to see what happens when she sees Andy for the first time since Paris :D

I'd not ever seen the "Lipstick Jungle," but your fic is so enjoyable I had to do some research on the characters from the show on my own.

It's clever how Andy blends so well with theses character and yet remains separate from them -distantly caring as though to protect her herself. She seems so scarred over Miranda, yet she vests interests and taking chances that could still get her burned because reaching out is just in her nature and she can't help it.

Woo Hoo for Nigel's appearance. And hot Diggitty Damn for Miranda who most certainly is not mooning over and missing her ex second assistant that left her in Paris --Yeah right, of course she's not. (oh she so is.)
