Q: Why Is There a Picture of a Dog Here?

a) Pam Calvert’s PRINCESS PEEPERS PICKS A PET (the sequel to awesome picture book PRINCESS PEEPERS) comes out today and the dog pictured above is the pet Princess Peepers picks. I am so excited PRINCESS PEEPERS PICKS A PET is finally out -- I’ve been waiting forever to buy it for my nieces.

b) Lindsey Leavitt’s SEAN GRISWOLD’S HEAD comes out today and Becca Fitzpatrick is having a contest where you need to post a picture of the back of someone’s head online in order to win a copy of SEAN GRISWOLD’S HEAD and the dog was the only one to volunteer the back of her head for said contest. On a somewhat related note, Lindsey’s PRINCESS FOR HIRE was an awesome tween novel and SEAN GRISWOLD’S HEAD has gotten great reviews but since I’m anticipating a lack of royalty in SEAN GRISWOLD’S HEAD, I plan on picturing Sean Griswold like a young Prince William while I’m reading in order to get my royal fix.

c) By the end of today, I should be done with the current round of revisions on my MG manuscript which my agent and I are calling CAPERS until someone can come up with an awesome title and to celebrate almost-done-revising-for-now I thought I’d post a picture of the dog actor I would choose to play the very minor role of a dog named Fozzatanno in the movie version of CAPERS when, ya know, Hollywood decides to make a movie version of CAPERS. Yes, I am aware novelists usually have no input on casting the movie version of their books but to the best of my knowledge, this rule only applies to human actors.

d) All of the above

e) None of the above
