It occurs to me that we haven’t had a picture prompt yet, so here I am to remedy that. Use the picture in any way you choose.

Wanna hear something crazy? To me, what this picture represents is paradise. Seriously, tiny cabin in the big wilderness is everything I dream about when I'm not feeling realistic.

Only thing missing is two chairs, or a bench big enough for two. Lacking that and using it as a B/A backdrop, I'm more inclined to imagine a sad story.

It's a place that Buffy goes to find Angel. He is holed up in there, after all the madness of the comics and NFA.

In fact, I've read fics set in a cabin in the wilderness before. I think Dark Star wrote one herself. DS?

Well remembered, Ares. I have an old B/A story set in a cabin by the sea. It’s called Interface

Yes, a lot of people feel like that.

Only thing missing is two chairs, or a bench big enough for two. Lacking that and using it as a B/A backdrop, I'm more inclined to imagine a sad story.

The cabin has potential for both, don't you think? I think the picture is vague enough for all kinds of stories...

Oh yes. Furniture buying isn't for the faint-hearted. I like that the prompt inspired you, and Kairos' comment on the chairs, to write a fic of a trip into town and buying furniture. It's not something we see Buffy and Angel doing. Usually it's killing demons and blood and gore.

I like it.
