Challenge: Read the Script!
Okay, so I'm going to start off by saying that I understand that the holidays are busy, so this one isn't due until the midnight of January 1. That's right, ballers...Make sure you have it in, even if you're counting down!
Anyway, I thought we'd try something with required lines. They don't have to be said by the narrator, or the MC, or even a character...but at least two have to enter your story at some point. Let's italicize the lines you use so it's easy to find them, and PLEASE remember to use tags.
Your line options are:
"I heard his whisper like smoke in the dark."
"There was a strange quality to the breeze that night."
"I don't know why the clown exploded." BONUS POINTS IF YOU USE THIS ONE! (With me, anyway.)
"The toaster simply stared, bored in the ordinariness of it all."
"Two pairs of eyes peered from beneath the fabric."
"Her laughter was like music...if the instrument was horribly out of tune."
AND FINALLY, "I am not the only one capable of operating a vacuum."
