I took some reference screenshots of the characters that I'm using in my story. I thought they might be somewhat interesting, LOL.

This is my Elven Hunter, her hair falling out of the ponytail, with two overwhelmingly handsome men.

She has the same hairstyle as my hunter. It's just practical, you know.

It is, and she's a practical girl. I've got the hairclips she wears as metal, but I can't figure out how to describe her ponytail holder. Any ideas?

The dynamics of the group she grew up in are a lot like Hermione, Ron, and Harry--if Harry and Ron were stunningly gorgeous.

I'm probably way off, since I don't know who these characters are or the universe in which they live, but just from looking at the pictures, it occurred to me that she would use a string of rawhide to secure her ponytail. In the bottom picture, it looks like they are wearing clothing and shoes made from some kind of skins, and she's a hunter, right? I used to know a Native American girl whose family were hunters, and she used lengths of rawhide string with beads to secure her ponytails and braids. Maybe your character uses string made from the hide of whatever animals she hunts, dyed different colors or decorated with beads if she's the 'girlie hunter' type. Just an idea. :)

Actually, that is spot on, and I'm glad that came through in the pictures. In the game, she is a skinner and leatherworker. She made their gear herself, and that is a big part of her character.

Oh good, the pics help my imagination. Since I don't play WoW, my only visual reference point for your characters was Lord of the Rings.
