i can so relate to the part where a lot of exposition will go away later, but it is useful to just write it out for now.

Yay for exposition. I woke up with an idea for introducing a minor character, which led to me adding in an early sneaky peek at the future love interest :) Writing is the next best thing to sleep, right?
