I am running a craft class on the Saturday or I would have been seriously tempted. If I was just doing the class as a participant I could have given it a miss, but I have 24 ladies expecting me to turn up with their projects for the day so it wasn't an option.
I'm sure that those of you that are there will have a great time, as always! If you do decide to do it again next year, could you avoid the weekend of 2nd August??? I'm really tempted to bite the bullet of mixing online and RL and come along but we do the craft thing every year, and it's not something I can easily get out of.
That will be a shame if it can't keep going. It's sad that ours has fallen on hard times, but then, I'm not standing up to volunteer to get something going, so I have to right to be unhappy.... These things (as you know, obviously) require a great deal of time and effort on the part of a small group of people and the burn out rate is pretty high.
I'm sorry to hear it might be the last one. I would have been seriously tempted to come this time, but I have to be in Lincolnshire at the weekend for an appointment I've promised to there for.
We usually finish about one, but lots of folks sit around for an hour or so after that - if you book a train around three-ish you won't feel too rushed.

The thing I was going to have to go to that was preventing me coming to Writercon has been cancelled, so I'm coming after all. :)
Have paid my subscription and booked my room. Just need to buy my train ticket. What time will things draw to a close on Sunday?
