Another con that Writercon attendees would enjoy is WisCon, though it's coming up quickly now (at the end of May in Madison).

I'm very sorry to see Writercon go, and can only say thank you for the outstanding memories, and people I've had the chance to meet. The con will be greatly missed!!! Hope to meet some of you through the other cons =)

I'm sorry to see WriterCon go - the two I've been to have been wonderful experiences. But I can understand the need to pass the torch and let someone else do all the incredible work that goes into making one of these things work. Thank you so much for what you've already given us!

*big hugs to Chris and the rest of the concom*

You guys did such an amazing job creating Writercon, and it meant so much to me to be able to help out in '06 and '09. Writercon was amazingly focused on creating interesting, thought-provoking, and fun programming; on exploring the art and craft of fanfiction from every angle; on bringing in wonderful panelists from within our community; and on putting the attendees' enjoyment above all else. There will never be another convention like it.

I miss all the Writercon folks and am really hoping that as many as possible will come to Wincon so we can have a mini-reunion (and actually hang out instead of running around busy the whole time!) ;)

PS: I'll keep Writercon.com alive as a memorial as long as the domain stays active. :)
