Seriously tired of feeling like a failure.

I know I'm the one who can (and should) make it stop, but I'm at a loss for how to.

But in 14 months, I'm done with school. Which is pretty awesome. Until then, tips on how to not feel like a failure are quite appreciated from any and all.

Biggest thing I've learned from feeling like a failure in college: Just let it go. Whether it's your own nagging voice, or that of your parents or friends or whomever, you can't hold onto what has been. It will seriously drive you mad (I know from experience).

Just keep looking forward. Take today and do something that you think is a success, even something small like getting to class early or cooking dinner. Then keep doing things that make your happy or proud. Yeah, bad shit will still happen, but if you focus on the good stuff that you are doing, it'll be easier to overcome.

This is all easier said than done. But I've always seen like as a matter of perspective, not choices.

I think you're amazing. I don't really have any tips. At least you didn't get pregnant out of wedlock and have to take a temporary leave of absence from school and now can't get any private loans in order to get back in school. That, my dear, should make anyone feel like a failure. Until said person looks at everything that they DID accomplish (i.e. job, apartment, car, marriage, healthy and amazing baby) and realizes that he or she isn't quite the disgrace that he or she thought he or she was.

Just a for instance, clearly. But you're amazing.
