*blinks* A Valentine? My, aren't you sappy, now... *drawls and then pauses, curiosity finally getting the best of him* okay, what is it, then?

not to interrupt the cuteness going on right now between you two, but i just wanted to say that i agree. much of my respect for the band as a whole comes from the fact that they accomplished so much and once they split up it seemed like the only one who still "cared just for the music" and not the money, was Lennon...while Paul kind of went the opposite way. the man is talented, but that did irk me just a bit. anywho, commence your adorable lol

This is a role play journal, so I do not usually discuss ~serious business~ here, but I'll have to agree with you.

I like John's solo career better than Paul's for this reason. Paul decided to go "family entertainment" to the extreme, and often ended up cheesy and commercial, when John decided to go "contemporary music", sometimes to the extreme, with some rather artsy-fartsy stuff as well. I still like the latter best, though.

Also, consider giving George's solo career an ear if you haven't already, it's about a healthy mix between the two, and very good (:
