Mine is the sequel to last year's, a sci-fi/fantasy about a crazy guy, his little sister, and some weird people they pick up.

yah! Someone on my flist is participating! *so excited* this is my first attempt, hopefully I can stick with it. I've written 50,000 words in a story before, but it took a whole year :p . I'm horrible at writing without going back to edit...*shrug*

I do that too. I just have to make sure I can write for three hours a day to get in the 1667 words.

This is my fifth NaNo novel, so as a fellow editor at heart I can tell you it's possible.

That said, it's a lot easier to not edit when you use this word processor:

You can't scroll up, and it doesn't underline misspelled words. It's like kicking your inner editor in the balls.

Good luck!

There's no way I could do this! I find it hard enough to get the time to write a 500 piece of fanfiction let alone a 50,000 word novel or how ever long it has to be!
