Important Announcement!

First of all, I want to apologize for being a neglectful mod. My laziness is unmatched, and it's one of the reasons why the community died out.

But! It's not the only factor! For one reason or another, the number of participants submitting their entries has died down to a mere two in a span of just a few weeks. To determine why this is so, I'd like ( Read more... )

Oh, no! Being sick really sucks, especially in the summer. I just got over a cold that lasted a week and a half, and it really wasn't fun :(

I hope you get better real soon! ♥

It was more a matter of me having problems trying to get into the assignments to begin with. I just couldn't quite figure it out and then things had started to roll with the assignments being linked in some cases and I just gave up.

I'm really sorry about the confusion, but could you elaborate? (read: I'm an idiot) Were you having trouble with understanding the assignments themselves or with the manner in which the assignments were done?

The manner in which the assignments were done. It seemed like in order to do the assignments correctly one would have had to also have done the previous assignment as a starting point.

Oh, I see! I'm so sorry about the assignment instructions not being clear :( Writers were not required to have done previous assignments; if there was a reference to it (usually in the manner of "taking the characters you wrote from last week's assignment") then it was only for those who had done those assignments. If you hadn't, then you were free to choose whatever characters you wished.

Thank you so much for your contribution; in the future, we will definitely make sure that this sort of thing won't happen again!

It's a combination of writer's block, depression, and being stranded in CA for a good month after an anime convention, then stranded in AZ for another two weeks, then coming back home only to have to plan a move two hours away from where I was living. I've now been living in my new place for a month, settled in, starting school tomorrow, getting my life back on track! I am ready and happy to be back in action!

I even feel happier and my depression has lessened since my move! Woot!

I'd be happy to do all the assignments I missed, even if I won't get critique, just to contribute to the community and get back in the game more thoroughly.

I look forward to everything starting up again! <3
