Another holiday? I'm assuming I should be cautious. However, in light of what happened on Mother's Day, those who were accidentally compelled to bring me toasters may each ask one small favor of me. I think it only fair.

[Filtered to Eirin]There's been news from home. I'm apparently still alive. But I have no idea what it means; I've been here the ( Read more... )

Yes, be careful. Nothing serious arose from Father's Day last year, but that doesn't mean that the same will hold true this year.

I'm concerned it will be the same as the last handful of holidays.

...America has too many.

Virtually every nation back home has this many. People look for reasons, if not excuses, to celebrate -- people to honor, events to commemorate -- and then celebrate them.

I may have forcibly blocked all knowledge of them from my mind.

Why bother? Too much work to do.

Cautious? Why? I have heard little of this holiday before, and have little enough reason to celebrate it, but it seems harmless enough...

On Mother's Day, men had to obey everything women said. Things happened at Christmas as well, apparently, and on a day called April Fool's Day.

Ja, it might be better to avoid men who could use this for their own good. I already tested this with my drone daughter and the twist seems to be the same as it was on Mother's Day.

But a small favor, mm? I don't think there really is anything I need...

...Don't even think of trying it on me, Klavier.

Nein, I don't have death wish, Generalmajor. [ Chuckle. ]

Should I suggest you to try some cotton as well if you don't want to have people ordering you around, mm?

[Oh? In regards to Mother's day...?]

Tell me I'm gorgeous. Tell me I'm amazing. Tell me you think you're a terrible strategist in light of everything that's happened here. Tell me you wish you were like me.

You are attractive--tall-backed. You are amazing at missing the point. I believe I am a terrible strategist, and I regret my past decisions. And yes, Sideswipe, I wish I were you. I wish I could live in blind ignorance like you.

You're not quite looking at it the right way, dear.

Tell me, what do you know about relativity?

I'm trying not to think on it at all, other than the fact that I suspect I'm being looked down upon for not going back.

Relativity?

It means that movement is relevant to the observer. Given that time is movement through a 4th dimension, it is also relevant to the observer.

That is to say, you could spend a thousand years here and less than a second would have passed in your home world.
