This is an amazing story. Just wonderfully written and researched. I've ended up an unexpected Hoover afficionado, and this one surprised and delighted. Good job!

Ah, the eternal dance! :) Excellent read!

Interesting premise that Hoover's jealousy wasn't over so much about Mel's lionization by the press but because he was the one people thought had pulled the trigger on Dillinger.
