Wow. This was really awesome. On one hand, I sympathized with Topanga, but on the other hand, oh my god, what a fucked up relationship. Poor girl is just starting to come out of her denial about how fucked up it really is.

Oh Topanga. I'm such a sucker for stories from the "wronged wife's" point of view. I mean, how long can she ignore it for, right? And the worst part is that if/when she does have enough, if she tries to lay down an ultimatum Cory won't be able to decide. He'll maybe swear off Shawn, but sneak around even more blatantly behind her back. Because I think he can make the decision to leave Shawn, but he won't be able to stick to it. And if she leaves he'll be genuinely upset but he'll have Shawn and she'll have nothing but a failed marriage. At least this way she has Cory when Shawn is not around and the illusion of him when he is. Because Cory does love her...just not as much as he loves Shawn. Sigh.
