Ah, I loved this! What a lovely treat. I looooooooove Christina and want to always see more of her on the show - reading about her is just as good! Love the idea of her desigining hero gear! That would be so fantastic.

And I must say, I'm excited to see whatever you may come up with this month! Good luck with your daily goals! And I'll be looking foward to them. :D

Brilliant as always. I love the thought of Christina as designer for superheroes, and this was a very nice scene.

I have to ask - is the comment about Superman's mom a nod to Lois & Clark and the bit about spandex in a Singer an X-men one, or am I just having my own fun with those lines? :-)

You are not having fun, you got them exactly right! I'm not a huge fan of Superman at all, but I unabashedly love Lois & Clark. He's the only Clark/Superman I've ever enjoyed from all angles, which is more a comment on my dislike of the character than Christopher Reeves or Brandon Routh's portrayals. I just loved that show.

Yay! I love Lois & Clark too. I think the main reason I like that version of Superman so much better than the others is that usually, Superman is the real guy and Clark Kent is this dork he pretends to be, while in L&C Clark is the real guy and Superman is a persona he takes on because it's easier for people to accept a superhero than a guy who has superpowers and wants to do good but is still at the end of the day just a guy. It really spoke about the conflict in a way that appealed to me.

Also, there was the wonderful chemistry between the leads (watching Moonlighting now, I notice the inspiration, even if of course the character personalities are different), and - yes - the way Clark's parents were portrayed.

...And now I'm waxing lyrically about something else than your story in your story post. Bad form, sorry! *g*

That's because the character is utterly freaking boring. Sorry to interject. But I'm in total agreement.

Fantastic! I also love the idea of Christina as the "Designer to the Superheroes." It must be a wee strange doing fittings with someone who's wearing a mask, though. Although I guess since it's spandex no actual clothing has to be removed? *is thinking too hard about this*

Anywho, lovely portrayal of Christina and Betty's relationship and Christina herself! As good as she is, she's still somewhat reticent about being all out there and in the spotlight.

I really love this series because it's one of the most well written crossovers I've ever read, but it also keeps true to the characters really well, and that's very impressive. You made it as if Betty and Bruce would be a perfect couple together, and now I can't help but hope that they work out.

And Christina designing superhero costumes? Priceless. ...Is it shameless if I admit that I've always secretly been looking forward to a Christina/Superman drabble, though?
