Quitting smoking is hard, but it's not that hard.
A week and a day in; I might make it, but I should have been smoking nastier cigarettes before I quit, because the ones I was smoking were deeeeelicious.
Which is a moot point, because I don't smoke.

A fabulous sidebar to getting pregnant was having to quit smoking. It was totally easy for almost three months, and then it wasn't easy for another 3 months, and now it's easier again. And I think the longer I go, the easier it will get. One thing's for sure: after nearly a year of not smoking, I am hoping I don't pick it up again. I will probably have to quit drinking for the most part, since they are directly linked.
I haven't felt this healthy in years and years. Hang in there!

I knew an alcoholic (non practicing) who said, "I know I have another drunk inside, but I don't know if I have another sober man."
I have no idea if that's 12 step talk or not, but it's stuck with me. About addiction generally, I mean.
