I'm about out of love with Skippyjon Jones. Don't get me wrong, the first book is clever and bizarre, but it goes down hill after that.

I, too, am about out of love, especially considering that most of the editions we've bought are accompanied by CD's of the author reading her work, but the small one still is in love.
And, while I can hand down the nay-no on toys, candy, and other assorted crap, an earnest request for something to read gets me every time.
