For you, I drew the Frigate bird. In many ways, this is the ultimate bird of the air. With the largest wingspan to body weight ratio of any bird, they can literally remain in the air for over a week at a time. They are known as pirates and thieves because they often steal prey from other birds, although this is actually only a small part of their diet. These birds teach about mystery, especially the mystery of lifestyles dramatically and intriguingly different from our own, sometimes misunderstood, but always fascinating.

For you, the Rook. If a rook leaves, you should too, because bad fortune is coming. Bow to the wisdom of the birds, respect their intelligence. This bird warns of blushing/embarrassment, shame, being knocked off one's high horse, being judged. They advise piety and propriety at the same time that they themselves are cheats and thieves. This is the bird of humility and temperance.

Whoa, heavy. I hope that it's helpful!

Thank you, dearling! I am not sure where that applies, but I will definitely work on staying humble and tempering my actions and words. *hug!*

Last one before I crash for the night. (I'll pick up anyone who requests overnight in the morning!) Welcome! Glad to have you here! :)

For you, the Osprey. This bird worships the sun. A noble bird, able to attract prey by sheer charisma but with a high code of honor. Respect others as you respect yourself (and vice versa), even those you clash with, showing respect via restraint. This bird sees through rationalizing/self deception as well as other illusions. This bird is drawn to water as well as the sun, and represents the harmony of sun and water...think of the way the light flashes on the waves. Splashing in, eating of fish.

This is a good card! I hope it has meaning for you!
