I drew Robin, who represents fierce, determined mercy, particularly in the face of death or great suffering, great empathy for heartache and sorrow. This bird is the coverer/burier of the lonely dead, bringer of water to the dying of thirst, etc. This bird is caretaker to the desperate, a bringer of warmth and empathy, mercy and relief. Its orange/red breast proudly proclaims: I have heart!

Also, remember, you won a Wings reading back in December that you haven't used yet! :)

Yo, Wrenny... LOL (I'm sorry, still sleep-deprived and still-giddy over baby... makes me very, very silly).

Could I gift the Wings reading to my daughter?

Have a good day! :)

I drew Titmouse, the bird of Strength. Linked to the letter M and the grapevine, this seems like a very good card for you!
Strength, courage, brace yourself, determination, hard effort, adaptability, control of ego are all themes here.

I hope that helps!

I'd love a general card. So many things I could ask for, but it's difficult to narrow down to one! Basically my mom died suddenly in November (the week after Thanksgiving) and the sadness is deep and it's permeating everything... I am struggling with worthiness of going after my dreams and how to balance that while being responsible at work... I am lucky to have an amazing boyfriend and a great dad. I've been struggling with being there for everyone but me lately...... so maybe that's really what I need to ask about-- how do I be there for me AND for everyone else, too?

Oh yeah. Balance. I guess that's really it...

Thank you so much for doing this. I'll definitely advertise for you!! I wish I could tip BIG right now.

All tips are greatly appreciated! :)

I'm so sorry for your loss; I know what it's like to lose a beloved parent. Balance is definitely key, but let me see what the cards have to say for you...For you, I drew the small Rook. Again we see the sense of balance; this is the bird of humility and temperance. In times of great change like you are going through, it's wise to refrain from making major decisions as much as possible. Let yourself blend into the background a bit, give yourself time to heal and find your footing again.

My thoughts are with you.

I drew Swift. This bird is distant, with greater things to attend to, on a great quest. Swift teaches about living on the wing, speed/he who hesitates is lost, be efficient with what you have, never look back, don't be dependent on others.

I hope this helps!

I'd love a card, probably a general one. I'm single, widowed, my kids are growing, I have a stressful job that I love, and write for publication...or try to. I'm struggling with finding inner balance, and how to find that. How does one do that, find that inner balance and peace? The quiet that allows creativity (which stress and soon-to-be-empty nest ha ha omg my life I am all alone) seems to steal?

:)

That is an EXTREMELY good question. I can't wait to see what the cards have to say! I drew..huh!...Turkey. Turkey is about male pride, virility/fertility, and cunning, mostly cunning! Know your territory. Be fearless even when you are in a position of apparent weakness. These birds use short birds of energy at just the right moment. This bird of the open forest speaks of needing a balance of private and public. Turkeys are very resilient and bring abundance with them.

*ponders* Yeah, I can see it. I hope you can, too!
