We got 3 or 4 inches here, starting at about 10 last night. They're saying up to 14" more by Sunday night.
We went out for lunch and to run some errands, including getting some sidewalk salt and a grocery store trip. I think the entire metro area was at the store. Every lane was open and the lines were still 15 people long in places. It reminds me why I usually try to do my grocery shopping after 7 pm.
I drove up to Kohler this morning - ugh. The roads were horrible. Thankfully the drive back was MUCH better, but most of the drive up was on I-43 with only one lane cleared...and it wasn't consistently the same lane!
You may be nuts, but not for that! I missed winter every year I lived in SoCal. Maybe not the first winter -- I got snowed in at my parents every Tuesday for 3 weeks when I was home for Christmas.
You want me to ship some snow back with Bill? We're due for more on Weds/Thurs.
