Bond like it used to be, only funnier

and in French. morganlf posted about OSS 117: Cairo Nest of Spies last weekend and tonight we watched it. Halfway through, I was emailing my Dad saying "You have GOT to see this movie!". It's a parody of early Bond and it's done really really well.

I think that in the set up for the scene his local secretary identifies it as an oud. I loved that scene. It fits so well with the way I've been describing the movie to people: "What if Peter Sellers played James Bond?".

Of course now I'm talking to *you* about the instrument I'm left thinking "That's not an Ood! Oods are freaky aliens with little communicator balls.".
