That was great, Wren. I loved the ending. It had me smiling. The whole sunshine to the nth degree power was just so perfect. And what a particularly appropriate demise for that other hated character. LOL

LOL I thought so too.

I always wanted Justin to really take on Michael. (One of my very favourite crack!fics is Alan's "Caped Crusader Meets the Twink of Terror". Makes me laugh every time I read it.)

This was a little bit of my wish fulfillment coming to the fore.

Great story.:) I really enjoyed it! I especially liked how supportive and caring Em and Ted acted towards Brian.

Thank you. As I've said before, I strongly feel that the real friendship that was growing between Brian and Emmett and Ted was one of the few highlights from S4 and S5. And it seemed to me that a lot of that was because Michael was far less of an influence not just in Brian's life, but in the others' lives as well. And that without him constantly doing his 'I am such a martyr to my friendship to Brian' routine that the other two had the opportunity to really see Brian, see who he is without Michael always colouring their perception ( ... )

I know that this is an AU Halloween fic but I love the fact that you still manage to keep the dynamics of the characters intact. Like the fact that having Justin in Brian's life diminish Michael's role in Brian's life. It's somehow the same here in the fic. The bright sunshine (Justin) is the one that defeated the ghost of Michael. I like this fic. It's creepy. You can make a Halloween movie with this fic. LOL!

Thank you. I really appreciate this because for me the biggest danger in writing au fics is that the characters, and especially the dynamics between them, get lost in the au-ness. (IMO it becomes a little like canon in the last couple of seasons where characters got lost in the pursuit of certain plot concepts.)

So - glad this worked for you. And yes, I really liked it that it was Justin who defeated Michael. *g*

Oh,I just had to say that I liked this a LOT. It's fabulous! And now you have to write about sunshine rage. Because that's just such an awesome twist on the them as superheroes and it'd totally explain Justin's obsession with superheroes.

Thanks. That idea actually didn't come to me until I was more than half way through the story, and I have to admit that there might have been an evil cackle or two when I thought of it LOL.
