Oh wow I want to say that was amazing but that does not even begin to cover the joy I got from reading that story Wren. The family actually bloody well took their faces out of their arses and helped Brian instead of sitting back and expecting him to do it. The saying it takes a villiage to bring up  a child came to mind here when I finished reading it. Brian had moved beyond his roots and his comfort behaviours and looked beyond his immediate hurt and he was able to let the reins go or at least put them down for awhile. The family actually each saw that for once they could actually protect and assist Brian and good on them they did. Some people may think I mean that the villiage is the famly and Brian is the child in fact I feel Brian brought the family up

I hadn't thought about it that way, but it's almost certainly true.

It's funny, because when I started the story I thought it was going to be all about Justin doing his thing and taking care of Brian, but Deb just wouldn't shut up so the story changed direction entirely.

And I'm glad it did. It's nice to explore how the family might help instead of hinder for once.

That was extraordinary! Love how everybody helped out and that Brian and Justin had the Christmas they always wanted.

Thank you. Yes. It's nice to think that sometimes the family would stick their noses in in a positive way. *g* Glad you enjoyed.

This is the second time I’ve read this and somehow it got better 🥰. It would be a wonderful story any time of the year, but takes on a little more meaning at Christmas. Thank for the awesome present 💝

Happy Holidays

Thank you. It was an interesting one to write. It's nice sometimes to write one where the characters I often get so frustrated with like Mikey and Deb behave like decent human beings and support Brian instead of constantly undermining him.

And even I am sometimes nice to Mikey at Christmas.

Glad you enjoyed.
