Chicken killing dog(?) strikes again

So, today my dogs decide to take off into the woods and ignore their frantically calling owner. Oso comes back relatively quickly, to be annoyed that he ends up in the yard and not the house. I'm hoping he will be a lure for his younger and more energetic sister. I walk around the woods calling. Nothing. I get in the car and circle that

Given that I didn't find a dead bird, I'm thinking she may have just grabbed feathers from the irate rooster I saw.

Have a fence, I was walking the dog leashless for all of 6 feet when her brother took off and she followed. Just means she never goes without a leash = ever.
