Wow~ that's alotta mulah!~ I can imagine your shock
Perhaps if I might suggest something: get copper sheets, or thin plates and afix to the doors in some kind of pattern?
something that would mimic a multipaneled door with panes? something like these. only with cut pieces of cooper sheeting You could even do shapes versus squares if you wished
What I was asking for was punched copper panels to put in cabinet doors- like the patterns you see on a pie safe only in copper and a pattern I haven't seen anywhere else.
I might even go for it if I hadn't just mailed off the check to pay Eliz's car off for her. She can pay me and save the interest but that was about half the money I have.
RP 1129 Copper 2 L/R 19 3/4 x 26 1/2 = $170 each 2 L/R 19 x 26 1/2 = $164.65 each Subtotal $669.30 S/H $50.00 TOTAL $719.30
The pattern is Oak leaves and acorns... which I could do with a hammer and nail since a good pic is posted- providing I got the copper sheeting in the sizes I need. But I think it's the copper that cost so much- although tin would be around $400 too.
