this is what i've been working on for the past few days in vector graphics, the file i'm gonna post here won't be vector anymore, as i took a snapshot of it to make the filesize smaller (the original is 3.8 MB) what you will see is the product of about 6 hours of work, not counting drawing the images ( Read more... )

I like it, but I think you can play around with Typography more. :3
It has this energy to it, and then the type is like "meh."

But then again, I'm a type-freak. ^^;

the closest thing to a typography class is one lecture given by my digital publishing teacher... so i don't really know what to do with the type...

if you have any suggestions tell me => i'de like to know

I think your playlist font is WAY to blocky. You're Album cover is nice and organic, try a font with more curves like Century Gothic, Geneva or maybe even Futura. You may even want to look into a script font? I'm not sure, but check it out, you never know! And your type doesn't always have to be so aligned, try altering each line a little in different directions.

You just have to play with it to see what flows good but still has that playful feel like your cover text. :D

i may try it, i have to have a block of text like this somewhere, and i'm using type on a path on the actual CD cover.... so maybe i can make the text angled with the smudges in the background... hmmmm

i added a drop shadow to it today, and i'll also try a few different fonts. THANKIES =D
