Sounds like you are having a crappy time. Excuses or explanation? I'm becoming more convinced in life that it doesn't matter either way. The important thing is that pain you feel is real and shitty. Frankly if someone else adds judgement soup to that they are giving it the worse garnish (when did this fall into a food metaphor?).
Visa stuff is super rubbish at the best of times, and it sounds like it's being particularly horrid for you.

As a side note: I hold you in good regard, even though we've not seen each other in a long time. This isn't *despite* money issues, or blood letting. Frankly 100% 'perfect' friends would be very tiresome.

I hope that life takes a better turn for you soon, and you find an unexpected way to go back to your island home.
