Kallian had gone to town on errands: buying more paint, wall-filler and beer. Because it's a well known fact that paint fumes and extreme heat can only be combated with beer =P

Beer solves most things except amputation, blindness and death =P (Thankfully we didn't experience any of those!)

Damnit, I still want to get you a bottle of Stone beer somehow.... Go look at the stone brewery website and tell me which beer/ale/barleywine/porter/etc you'd most like. (Then give me a choice 2nd and 3rd.) I'll see if Kallian or I can rig something to bring bottles over. Not promising, but if we can we will - so tell me your preferences!

He's always spoken in English to me, which I found very confusing before discovering he'd worked in London - they didn't tell us that bit at school.

Oh, and predictably he did stop at the Brewhaus: apparently he sat and sketched and someone bought him a pint. (He likes the people here and considers them very kind.)
