Have just sent it off and now have panic mixing with whiskey and epic lack of sleep roiling in my stomach. *sigh*

You'll be fine.
One thing to bear in mind is that, as Fred Nolan is a writer himself, he knows what editors can do. Even more, he's an editor himself, so he's seen the things that only editors get to see. You'll be judged on your originality and your storytelling, not your grammar or spelling.
The other trick is to concentrate the editing in the first few pages, since by the time he is hooked it'll be far less important.
