I've just opened it up again and put some of them on ebay (I'm not gonna have a 25inch waist again without being anorexic or certifiable) but the rest fits me again. Now I have lots of jeans and several more waistcoats. Win ( Read more... )

Two questions :

Where do Emmy's family reside?

What asylum is she sent to?

SH claims, “I could have sworn the Lindhursts had a son, two daughters, a country estate, a sizable income, three dogs, two horses, a town house in Chelsea...” and since Emmy is so cagey about it we must assume he's correct.

I don't know what asylum she was sent to the second time; I don't think she was returned to Parkhouse, I think she ended up somewhere a lot dingier and less genteel, but still somewhere in or on the outskirts of London....
I need my bedlam books, grrr... *goes looks at old parish maps* Ooh - there's a St Luke's Hospital for Lunatics in upper Moore Fields that looks suitably grim - how about there?

Okay, shall scribble. Also, what year are we cause Emmy paraphrases Wilde which makes it 1895 or after and I don't normally write that late.

Hm, good point. I'll just scrap the Wilde quip and it can be earlier. Erm... *looks back at other story* think it's meant to be winter 1891 - is that still too late?

For no readily apparent reason I wave a stick in your general direction and say "Tea and cake dammit!"

When are you in that London again so we can talk nonsense about stuff and things ?

Also, I seem to remember I owe you some bits of etched glass.
Since I have almost all my bones back and my tools are repaired, remind me of the words you wanted on them ?
