Antique carpets and rugs smell very peculiar when wet. Sort of like wet sheep or goat or something. I'm having to dry two carpets (one of which is easily the size of my shamblyland room, the other is 2/3 size) by hand. This involves a lot of towels. And after ten minutes I smell like wet sheep too. Biba stuff is always expensive.

Not good on the flood of doom. Have you tried using newspapers to soak up the rugs?

I knew Biba was expensive in theory, it was rather surprising to discover in practice though.

Newspaper? I haven't, but that's 'cos there isn't any - it all gets eaten up by the fire.

Have you seen game of shadows? friends of mine went to see it last night and then texted to tell me no matter what I had to beg borrow or steal or whom I had to kill I had to go and see the film. *jealous neurons*
