I agree it is a film to see.

However, at the interval I had to go and ask my father - 'why is it a classic' and 'dear gods doesn't Scarlet O'Hara annoy the fekk out of you?'

He laughed and said it was a classic for '38, which is fair enough. Also that although Scarlet was irritating, at least she was relatively true to her time and not stupidly 'modernised' as many historical people in film are these day. I conceded and went to watch the other half of the film.

I was generally entertained, but that may have had something to do with me having Doc Holliday's running commentry in my head as I watched... =P

Mm, I considered that.

But I dunno how 'exclusive' Grim wants his the art to be, and - more pressingly perhaps - I don't currently have a scanner =/

*sigh* Bother the whole slowly-moving-house-thing.

Give me time and I'll get paranoid enough to photograph stuff with my digital camera and poll people anyways...

tomorrow i must sit in the flat in earlsfield and await mattress delivery.
should you have nothing better to do you are welcome to join me, although it might be slightly dull.

If that doesn't appeal may i suggest somewhen next week at your convenience?
(not monday, but pretty much anywhen after is good I think...)
