*laughs* i'm not sure h p lovecraft ever mentioned lepracauns, although he might have mentioned Kali as being a blasphemous and strange lesser god, in which case she's in the running =)
Have you seen 'Baby's First Mythos' by Z-Man Games? It's now in it's second edition and even includes an 'X' entry which I think it missed out first time round. It's basically a comical Mythos A-Z.
As far as I'm aware, 'Cthulhu at the Beach' long preceded 'Baby's First Mythos', so I think you can be content on that score - Indeed, you got out two books to their one before they appeared in the scene!
ah, shiney, thank you! mm, according to the online lexicon, there are penguins of leng and they come from a lovecraft story.
do you happen to know what any of your lot like doing? for example, I know the cats of ulthar ate people, and the spiders of leng probably do spidery things... any ideas about ithaqua? was it a monster or a portent? where do elder things come from? what is the favourite pastime of the tchotcho? and other such annoying questions =)
Giant albino penguins which live in the bowels of the earth near the subterranean city of the Old Ones. The penguins stand over six feet high and are totally white. Beyond its color, size, and virtual eyelessness, the penguins are much like their other cousins in every aspect.

maybe the spiders find the penguins too fatty?
and thanks for the research - your reward is (naturally) the cultist book you're missing brought to you at the next DA game =)

I'll consult my tomes next time I get a chance, as some of those I don't recall anything about (Juk Shabb and Vulthoon only ring tiny bells for me).
But how could I forget Zoogs! They're much better than any tentacled god beginning with 'Z' I may have made up. They're like little monkey things with tentacle fronds over their mouths.
Ghatanathoa is your classic hideous mass of tentacles, eyes and mouths style Great Old One, although there one interesting difference is that he causes pretrification just by being seen (even images and idols of him can have that effect). So he really ain't pretty.
The Beings from Xotl are weird tree-like alien things enslaved by the Insects from Shaggai, so using them without references to the Insects would probably be difficult.
Let me know what alphabetical list you decide to go with and I'll gladly help furnish details.

A is for Azathoth who bubbles and blasphemes, B is for Brown Jenkin all pointy and mean, C is Cthulhu who sleeps in R'leyh, D is for Dagon to whom we all pray, E is for Elder Things which look really strange, F is for Flying Polyps travelling at range, G is for Great Race who came out of Yith, H is for the Hound unmentioned in myth, I is for Insmouth such holiday fun, J is for Juk-Shabbat who I can't make up a rhyme for cos I don't know what it is....
The rest of the list is likely (but not definitely) gonna go like this: King in Yellow Lliogor Migo Nyarlathotep Old Ones Penguins of Leng Quachil-Uttaus R'lyeh Shoggoth Tsathoggua / Tcho-tcho Unamable / Ublo-Sathla Witch House Xotl, Beings from Yog Sothoth Zoog
(and hopefully some better thoughts for rhymes will come to me 'cos some of those are a bit weak...) =P
