Sad that we are probably not getting Rebel Pilots....but I, too, am cautiously optimistic about what they will do with this story!

Why wouldn't they be rebel pilots? It's set before ANH, but they could still be part of the rebellion. Or has there been some confirmation that they won't be rebel pilots already? :/

I guess I'm using the term "rebel pilots" to be post-ANH.

Also, with the plot summary being released about a group stealing the Death Star plans, I would expect it to have said they were pilots, if they were.

But hey! Female lead! Interesting story! ground-war perspective! I'm there.

That's the only drawback so far ...just one female pictured there! Fingers crossed for more.

Probably not likely - the guy I think you mean is Diego Luna, who is hispanic and therefore probably not Biggs.

Would be a great homage though!
