Upsetting in an, "Awwwh. *sniffle* Wedge needs a hug," way.
It's a short story. It starts at the end of a mission, and the rest of the (Rogues? I was thinking maybe Reds...) are harassing Wedge about being lucky. He gets uncomfortable thinking about how his "luck is his curse," then laughs them off. He retires to his quarters and suffers through some not-so-happy memories about a girl, the girl's un-trusting father and how the Empire has a knack for stealing everything from him.
It's kind of hinted that the story is the reason he joined the Rebellion, but I thought he did that because of what happened to his parents. ...Maybe that's just what made him decide piloting was his thing. Hmm.
I'm not sure what a Jossed upsetting is like. Is that like the feeling I got when I found out Firefly was canceled? 'Cause it was kinda similar.
That sounds minorly Jossy. *makes note of issue #*
Being Jossed (at least in my brain) is when your heart gets ripped out and stomped on by the story (and you sorta like the pain). See also a certain scene in Iron Fist...
Also, squee!! for fellow Browncoat :o) You know there's a movie coming in September, I hope?

They, unfortunately, weren't nice enough to share their pre-screening tickets. Doh!
