Okay, here it is: For Nic, who requested Loran and Phanan and 'mechs, oh my! The prompts were 'gun rack,' 'escape artist' and 'Cheese Whiz.' Believe it or not, but I got them all in, and it makes sense :) Sorry I couldn't give you some KOTOR...I know absolutely nothing about that aspect of the SW universe. Very enjoyable. I like how you leave it to the reader to imagine what exactly was done with the gun rack, string, blow dryer and cheeze whiz. Can't say I'm exactly convinced that it cheered Wedge up, but it made me smile.

Thank you. That's the best compliment a writer can get, to hear that it did as intended :) I do have a specific idea of what happened with the items in my head, but I always find it interesting to see what others would do with the same items...perhaps they did use the Cheese Whiz to create a nice motivational sign to put on the gun rack...hehe, yeah, right.

Forgot to add...yes, there is a second part coming (to meet the 1000 word minimum)...just had to build up the suspense for poor Gate. It'll be posted today.

And now for the finale...same rating as before, same characters...

I never did find out exactly what had happened. After Commander Antilles exited his office covered in orange, in excess of the usual due to the New Republic’s choice in Starfighter Command uniform, I inferred from his body language and tone that he would not, in fact, be commending my helping of Lts. Janson and Loran and Flt. Officer Phanan in their ‘motivational’ project. To be quite honest, I was certain that, if my participation were to come to the Commander’s attention, I would be wiped and reset.

Not the type of thought that an astromech, or droid of any ilk, looks forward to.

And so, I find myself in the maintenance closet again. Perhaps I can stay here until Commander Antilles has forgotten the matter. Perhaps...oh, dear. The door is opening...oh, he has found me!

‘Gate.’ The Commander is standing in front of me, much as Lt. Janson did before, though without the same smile. Surely this does not bode well.

Bwahahahahaha :) That was brilliant. The FPV from Gate was unique. Don't think I've every read a droid's FPV, though Mike and Aaron have don 3rdPV a couple times.

And I can only imaging what was waiting for Wedge lol XD

And Wes never learns. Wedge will always get his revenge.

And don't worry about the lack of KOTOR :) It was a wacky request to begin with :D

(Also, apologies for not seeing this sooner; I've been freaking out over finals, and graduation, and an impending trip to Italy, and, and, and....ow my brain.)

Ooh, I'm so glad you liked it. Took me a bit to get the idea from your prompts, but then I saw how they fit together so clearly...and no, Wes never will learn. But that's why we love him so :)
