The Justice League and the Justice Society are two different groups, the Justice Society being the older of the two. And from what little I've gathered about Smallville, the Justice League doesn't exist yet.

Ok that's what I was looking for.

I don't watch Smallville, but the comic geek in me bristled for a second.

Wow! Now that's a con I'd love to go to---seeing the guys reunited would be awesome! I'm sure they will have a great time and provide a lot of laughs for the crowd. Hopefully people will be posting pictures/videos/reports. Alas, that's the only way I'll be experiencing the con.

Yup, hoping there will be plenty of fan coverage> right now I'm culling links from Joe F's last couple cons. I've fallen behind, so will have 2-3 LJ entries just filled with links to con reports, vids and pictures :)

I've never seen Smallville, but I'm not sure how I feel about Michael Shanks being Hawkman in any capacity. He just seems too... small. On the other hand, if they go with the character's usual costume, he'll be shirtless for at least a good portion of the episodes.

For me, it's across the whole country... 20 minute ride? I'd do it!

Vancouver is so close yet so far (I live in Alberta also, it's like a 12hr drive(?) or an 1hr flight to get there)...and the Con is also very expensive...not even including accommodations! =(
I need to graduate and get a full time job STAT!

It's the friggin' cost that stops me. If you want to do the breakfast/dessert stuff, it gets costly. Cocktail stuff? Exhorbitant!
