I think that's what I love best about Sheppard - he's not a kung fu kind of action star. It's guns, brains and a whole lot of luck with him, and sometimes he doesn't always get it right. He manages to pull off being both cool and a complete dork, and it keeps him from being the generic can-do-know-wrong hero.

And I like that he's a fallible hero as well; doesn't always succeed but yeah, he can be cool and a dork at the same time ;)

Does he seem to drop years when he's just chatting, especially whe talking about his family?

He does seem relaxed when he chats about his family. It's sweet.
