So, with reduced internet access and a hell of a lot of boredom, it is now my goal to finish my stargatefic100 claim before I go back to school. Towards that end, I kinda just gave myself a time limit, picked a prompt at random, and wrote 'til time was up. So, here's whatever the hell came out. Slash is marked.

Well, you're off to a good start, but the Big Damn Table is awful scary looking!

I especially liked Broken, and Fire.

Funny, I was just thinking like yesterday or the day before that we never meet anybody offworld that wears glasses. Do we? And I started trying to imagine what people on other planets might come up with that would be different from the eyeglasses we're used to. Like maybe swim goggles!

we never meet anybody offworld that wears glasses

I guess since most of the cultures they seem to meet are either primitive or advanced...they either live with the poor eyesight or have better ways of correcting it. We see relatively few societies on the show that are close to our level of tech and would resort to something like glasses.
I guess the closest we ever come to seeing offworld vision correction is when Nyan uses that thing to cure Teal'c's blindness.

Hooray for you doing more of these! Enjoyed them all, especially Jack playing with Daniel's head in 'Broken' and Daniel not buying it for a second and Jack still trying with "You always believed me before" (it is interesting that we don't see eyeglasses in other cultures even when they seem to be advanced enough to make them -- hm), and 'Fire,' and the J-D friendship in 'Days' (love the last line), and all of 'Beginnings,' most of all the line “You want this; I want this. Just let it be that simple.”

You are soooo good. I love how you say so much in so few words. I think Broken, Days, and Beginnings are my favorites though I did love them all. Actually Days really touches a special place in my heart, ESPECIALLY that last line.
