No, no one has been bugging me to update this. As of the last update I have one more niece, a new job, way less sleep, my sister moved to Hawaii, and we are officially looking for a house. Since starting my new job I've been listening to audiobooks nonstop. I'm starting to run out of books. I've been through the entire Discworld set again,

It sounds like you and Sten are going through almost exactly what Brandon and I went through when we were house hunting upstate (before being forced to move). It is a highly stressful process for a couple, and you really find out a lot about each other in the process.

In our case, Brandon wanted a really cheap fixer-upper type of house, whereas I wanted something that was maybe not cosmetically pleasing to look at, but livable. I also go for all of the charm in a 2-story Colonial era type house, whereas he wanted a mid-century one-story ranch like he grew up in.

It's definitely hard, but if you can get through it together then you'll be stronger for it, believe me.
