Even though I've been sick most of the time since I started the new meal plan last week, I've had a bit more energy in the afternoons/evenings. It might be the mucinex, but the nutritional idea is to eat small meals more often. So I have oatmeal with protein powder or a protein shake for breakfast at 7:30, then I eat a small portion of last night's leftovers for lunch at 12:30, a sugar free protein bar around 4:30/5:00 on my way home (this is to combat The Candy Monster and it's starting to work), then dinner around 7/8pm, then a protein snack that's light on sugar around bedtime at 10:30/11pm.

I like the protein bars the nutritionist recommended, they're called Think Thin and I got them at Trader Joe's. They're all combos of chocolate and/or peanut butter, so I might get tired of them eventually, but I like the chewy consistency.

I have heard that B12 or B complex vitamins can help with energy too. I forgot to ask the nutritionist about it, but when I find out, I'll let you know what she says.
