Yeah, I'm finding Tigh to be really interesting, even if he is an obnoxious bastard :).

Still not gone anywhere near Primeval since the awful first ep, but I am mildly curious as to what is causing the rifts. This I don't mind getting spoilage about :). And I'll have to agree to club you to death re: Torchwood ;).

And ooo, BSG soundtracks?! They must be mine!!! I love the soundtrack to this show.

D20 is an amazing system!

Well, so long as you want to play D&D (and old-school D&D at that.) I don't think it really translates very well to other settings with themes more complicated than kicking in doors and killing the monsters.

But if you want a borderline wargame/roleplaying game, I actually have a lot of time for it.

BSG's third season has been a really weird watching experience for me. When it's been good, it's been phenomenal (The Passage, I think, stands up as one of the single best hours of SF TV in the last ten years) and when it's been bad...well, let's just see I never need to see another 'Let's solve our problems by...boxing!' episode.

PRIMEVAL I've, by and large, really enjoyed. There are problems with it (A paeloentologist is the best person to study time anomalies?) not the least of which is Helen needs some sort of motivation other than what my friend Pete would refer to as 'Psycho Hose Beast' and needs it pretty much yesterday.
That being said, the reveal on the missing character was nicely handled and I'll be interested to see how they get out of it. My personal theory is that the reason why Helen's acting this way is she's either completely insane or has been altered by something or someone from 'upstream'. That would explain why she seems able to open anomalies at will, if nothing else.
