We've decided to run the dishwasher at night after the kids go to bed. We unplug it when it's done though because of the exposed wiring underneath, don't want one of the kids to be electrocuted. (6-9 days till the access panel is here

It will be interesting to see how big of a difference it will make. Our water and electric is through the same company and on the same bill, so I should be able to see on next month's if it really is using less than before.
