Just finished up my weekly Dr's appt. I had 3 different people (two nurses and the dr) ask me if I got my flu shot this year. I did, very reluctanty I'll admit, but I got it. Sounds like it's a good thing I did, H1N1 is running rampant through the area right now, and the doctor lost one of his patients who was 20 weeks pregnant to the pneumonia ( Read more... )

Having had quite the ... ahhh.... interesting... array of hand-me-downs from my cousin I also declared that Christmas dresses and something around Easter will be new for each child. Shoes aren't generally shared either, mostly because they're no longer in a usable condition by the time the first kid is done with them.

nope. We've got a list of names that we both feel are "eh... ok" but nothing yet that we're both in love with. The list is being revised a few times a week and will go with when it's time for her to show up. Hopefully we can look at the baby and find the name that fits.
