I ate a Snickers bar with my lunch and now I'm all jittery and feel like babbling.  I actually did start to babble to my friend she looked at me like I was crazy.  I started to think about it, and I really can't remember the last time I ate a candy bar.  Now I do have a weakness for Peanut M&Ms but that's not a candy bar.  I didn't even eat the ( Read more... )

AHhh, yes, that does look a lot easier than what I was doing. I was treating it like a peach, cut it in quarters and pry the fruit off the pit. I'm still not sure how I feel about them, but Joe liked it a lot so I may get some more when they're on sale again.

Sweetie, that's how everyone's brain works - randomly jumping from one subject to another based on only the vaguest, tiniest connection it can find. Or, at least that's how my brain works, so I just assume that is how everyone elses' does, too.

ANYWAY, you sound a lot like me when I am severely sleep deprived. I babble about anything and everything, at great length, and there is no consent between what I think and what comes out of my mouth. I hear it can be kind of amusing in a sort of annoying "just shut *up* already!" way. :)

No Mar, I don't think that's the way most people work... Joe has trained me to pause between thoughts because when we were dating I would throw him off by jumping topics randomly.

Now my warning to him is the phrase "Speaking of __topic__ the other day I saw/read/talked to __totally different topic__"
